When conducting feasibility studies, we work closely with our higher education clients to understand their needs, vision, operational, and financial parameters to accurately project current and long term costs and revenues associated with the endeavor. We have completed feasibility studies for new facilities, academic programs, off-campus operations, student services, professional programs, and shared services.

College and university leaders frequently need to demonstrate the impact and contribution their institution (as a whole or a particular unit – academic college or professional school) has historically made to the local or state economy. MGT has developed a model for assessing the economic impact as well as the social impact of the select entity. Our impact analyses include contribution projections and estimates based on salaries, expenditures, visitors, research dollars, and ROI of public dollar input. Other research includes analysis and comparison of employment and earnings of program graduates in comparison to local high school graduates, and for graduates employed in the institution’s home state, and estimating the present value of increased lifetime earnings for the institution’s program graduates.
