
Andre Wright
Andre most recently served as the Chief Academic Officer of Aurora Public Schools in Colorado. In that role, he oversaw many student achievement gains, including significantly improving the district’s graduation rate and increasing the Colorado District Performance Framework scores. The son of two educators, Wright began his career in education as a paraprofessional. Aurora Public School Schools serves more than 60,000 students in 54 schools. Aurora Public Schools is an urban school district in the Denver Metropolitan area.
Andre was appointed Area Executive Director for the Northeast Learning Community in the Fulton County School System in March of 2012. Fulton County Schools is an urban Atlanta-area school district with nearly 100,000 students in 100 schools and employs nearly 14,000 staff and support personnel. Today, Andre leads the Adams 14 project on behalf of the MGT transformation team in Commerce City.
