Fred Seamon, PhD (Executive Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Group) has been with MGT for 37 years. As an Executive Vice President and leader of MGT’s DEI team, he has participated in more than 150 disparity research studies across the country including two of the largest disparity studies conducted in the United States. Fred has also provided leadership in operational transformation and strategic planning for more than 60 clients and served as meeting facilitator for 30 public projects for public agencies and educational institutions. His prior roles include leadership positions for Florida State University, Leon County Teenage Parent Program, and Volusia County Juvenile Court.
Reginald Smith (Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Group) is nationally recognized for successfully managing and directing availability and disparity studies and is the leader of MGT’s disparity team. He has been involved in more than 50 disparity studies since joining MGT and has managed some of the largest disparity studies in the country, including the City of New York and the state of Texas. Reggie has also led social equity and justice projects for the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County, VA and Dane County, WS.
Simmie Raiford, PhD (Senior Consultant, Education Transformation Group) has over 35 years as a teacher, professor, administrator, and education policy analyst. She has worked with 11 school districts providing turnaround consulting with an impressive track record of success in increasing academic pass rates and grade level improvements Since 2004, her work has centered on supporting transformation efforts in schools threatened by state takeover. She is currently serving Midland Independent School District in Texas and Fulton County Schools in Georgia.
Lamont W. Browne, Ed.D., (Vice President, Education Transformation Group) brings more than 18 years of experience working in a variety of education roles where he implemented leadership development throughout the organization. He has served as teacher, principal, adjunct professor, district administrator, and charter school CEO. He has implemented strategic practices to maximize leadership and improve student-based instruction within high need communities, resulting in organizational turnaround across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Colorado. His most recent role was Executive Director of the Office of Autonomous Schools for Aurora Public Schools in Colorado, managing the district’s school turnaround framework while leading the Charter School Office and the district’s inaugural Innovation Zone encompassing close to 10,000 students across 14 schools. His work supported an increase of high school graduation rates from 78% to 100% at Aurora West College Prep Academy – the first time in the district’s history.
